This week’s comic is dedicated to the striking garbage collectors in Toronto who walked off the job three weeks ago, leaving our fair city to fend for itself in a heap of its own filth. 

For good or ill, the strike has made me realise a couple of things, and here they are:

1) If you have a well-paying city job with union benefits and job security during the worst economic crisis of your lifetime, you ARE an asshole if you go on strike while people all around you are losing their jobs. 

2) As an individual I create surprisingly little garbage and those greedy swine can rot on the picket lines like so much trash for all I care!
